    Turkey Chili

    This is a crowd favourite in our house and to be honest, if I can find a quick, easy & nutritious dinner that the whole family eats then I consider it to be a big win! Plus, it reheats just as well the next day so making extra covers lunch duty as well. Pair it with some warm fresh bread and you have a perfect combo!

     

    INGREDIENTS

    1 pound ground turkey

    1 onion - diced

    1/2 can of chick peas - drained and rinsed

    1 cup of frozen corn

    3 cups of strained diced tomatoes

    3 tsp of chili powder

    1 pinch of sea salt

     

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Cook the ground turkey in a pan over medium heat, once meat is cooked add diced tomatoes until slightly browned
    2. Add turkey/onion mixture to crockpot and add remainder of ingredients
    3. Stir and set to low heat
    4. Let sit for 8 hours
    5. Top with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese & ENJOY!
